The Iconic Tweed Jacket

I spent the majority of Thursday running around rounding up the finishing touches on Christmas presents and organizing. It's been so cold lately, I've been pulling out pants that I haven't worn in awhile, and lately I find myself favoring the slight mixing of patterns as well brown and black combos. While my outfit wasn't exactly a typical one for me for errand runs, I did feel festive in it with the spirit of Christmas and holiday gatherings.


Last night, I finally had a moment to browse through the January 2011 {omg!} Marie Clarie, which I've been wanting to get to for over a week now! Quickly I saw the little spread on tweed jackets and I thought, perfect timing...I just wore one the other day!


I think a tweed jacket is a fantastic staple item to have that is always stylish. It's a great final piece to pull together any look, plus you can dress it up or down, but regardless you always look timeless and elegant {my favorite}.
