The sisters did a lot of research and learned a true and startling fact: it takes an average of 15-25 gallons of water to traditionally dye just one t-shirt. They found a way to make their tees out of recycled bottles and waterless textile dyeing. Genius! Plus, every time you buy an item from A Lot To Say, a generous percentage of every sale goes back to support their favorite charities and causes.

I love it! Wow, that's a lot of water...
ReplyDeletei did a whole lesson plan on water - the kids LOVED it! ..

ReplyDeleteMan, we waste so much water. I try to get my friends to do just one thing: switch from purchasing plastic bottle after plastic bottle of water, which wastes not only water but also the oil used to make the plastics, and buy a reusable thermos and fill it up with filtered tap.
ReplyDeleteOh, and to turn off the faucet while brushing their teeth. :)
Iva this might be my most fave one yet. I love that purr one best - it has totally been true in my life when i was soooo sick about 5 years ago my cats helped me infinitely. and i have a dress made out of recycled plastic bottles...i think i'd love any of these on a t!
