I love getting pedicures. However, since breaking my toe a few weeks ago, I am long overdue for one. I'm still so cautious of anything going near my toe, which has actually healed very nicely, but is still not 100%. While waiting for it to be less sensitive to the touch, I'll be doing my own pedicures. My routine is super easy and honestly I can not tell the difference between my feet when I do it or when I get it professionally done {but getting pampered is always nice ;) }.
1) Professional emery board Sephora collection
2) Sephora collection nail buffer
3) Maxim Pedi Redi soak
4) Sally Hansen Gel Cuticle Remover
5) Mix Olive Oil and Sea Salt for a great scrub!
6) Diamancel Diamond File for Foot Calluses
7) L'Occitane 100% Pure Shea Butter
8) Essie Toe Separators
9) Seche Base Coat
10) Illamasqua Nail Varnish {I'm loving the shade "Blow" this summer!}
11) Seche Ultra-V Top Coat

Great tips for the girls! I am sure they will love it.

ReplyDeletetotally LOVE getting a pedicure - but for some odd reason i never go - i think it's b/c i hear how they don't "sanitize" the baths (only once a day, in the am, before 1st customer) .. so i'm sceeved out .. so now i do it myself :o( .. but it IS verrryyyyy relaxing! - i gotta teach my Niece how to do this - i already have her giving me massages - hahaha

ReplyDeleteI don't like the idea of getting mani's and pedi's. I don't trust the hygenics in those places. I just do it myself or my mom does it for me.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and commenting! Happy 4th holiday!
I'm always nervous of other people near my feet - not only are they a bit ticklish, but I run, so I have unattractive blistery bits which I need to hang onto for protection!
ReplyDeleteYou've reminded me, it really is time I gave my feet some attention..
I quite like pedicures but my feet are so ticklish that I rather do them myself :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard that olive oil and sea salt is a a great scrub. I might give it a go!
