Outdoor Summer Exercises

Outdoor Summer Exercising

With rising hot, hot, hot temperatures take your workouts outdoors! The opportunities to have fun while getting fit are endless. Just please remember to hydrate well{before, during and after any activies}.
  • Walk or run {get a buddy...maybe even commit to a 5k}.
  • Dust your skates off {just don't forget the protective gear}.
  • Hula hop or jump rope {easy and super fun...burns calories quickly too}.
  • Ballin'! Shoot some hoops, or batter up, or grab a racket and play some tennis.
  • Refresh yourself and go swimming all while having fun and toning.
  • Bike around your neighborhood, or take a little scenic tour.
  • More fun workouts here.

  3. I go walking outside on my 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon. The key is to find a mostly shaded path. That's not so easy! Our temps here are in the 90s most day and the humidity makes it hard to breathe!

  9. I love spending time outdoors in the summer. :) Unfortunately, temps here in AR can get so hot they warn us against heat stroke almost daily. We have to take it easy sometimes.
