I love these types of longer, flowy tank tops. It's a great length for leggings, to prevent feeling like you are wearing them as pants. It's from Forever 21 and I wore it before with jeans, and these same Calvin Klein booties. The blazer is from Express.
I am so happy it's Friday. Lately I've been feeling overwhelmed. I could use at least 3 more of me to split among all the things I need to get done. Being a perfectionist isn't helping me cut corners either {although, I prefer to call it detail oriented}. Sometimes I think I'll never feel done with anything. There is always more to do, more to learn, more to teach, more to experience...more to worry about. Plus, there is the guilt. The guilty feeling of being away from your children, even for a nanosecond.
But then, last night my son called me his best friend. In that moment my heart melted, the world stood still, and everything became alright again. It was like confirmation that while I wonder at times if I am doing things 'right', I am. Even though he might think that Superman and Batman have all the cool world saving powers, they really have nothing on my little Superhero man.
Happy Friday! I hope you have a great weekend!
