First up, the 3 main components of an orgasm are:
- Nerve stimulation. Women have 4 different nerve systems {pelvic, pudendal, hypogastric & vagus } that carry sensation to the brain from...down there.
- Enough blood & oxygen to swell and fuel genital tissue.
- Muscles that are able to contract.
- They have heightened respiration, usually with sharp exhalations.
- The four nerve systems are being stimulated by the core contractions.
- They are rhythmically contracting the lower pelvic floor muscles.
- There is more blood flowing and more oxygen in the blood.
If you're experiencing this little phenomenon of coregasms while doing many core reps, mystery solved. If you are not, coregasms are by no means an indicator of the strength and intensity of your workouts, so no pressure to perform; they are merely a little side benefit to working out that happens for some people ;)
Happy Weekend!
