After a solid week of rain, it finally stopped. And while it's still super windy and chilly, I'll take that without the rain, any day. I'm really looking forward to May of consistently warm, sunny days and outdoor activities!
I'm wearing a Bebe blazer and cardigan from H&M. Heels are Calvin Klein and my tights are from Target. This little flower print dress, is courtesy of So[phis]tiX, a small online boutique.
In other happenings, my eyebrows are long overdue. Unfortunately the last time, my esthetician who has been doing an awesome job for two years, burned my right eyelid in two places. Thankfully, what appeared to look like the makings of scars, heeled rather well. But, I'm not sure if I am comfortable going back. While, I completely understand 'things happen', they still are my eyes, and taking a chance with your eyes, might not be all that wise. Then again, finding someone new who I will really like, will be a process as well. Maybe I should switch to threading.

Threading is actually not too bad - I learned to do it for myself and thankfully haven't messed up too badly yet. Then again, I tend to just tweeze when I'm in a rush.

ReplyDeleteHow horrible that you had your eyebrow burned :/ I had a bad experience with eyelash permer a few years ago. It turns out I am allergic to the solution they used - I have puffy eyes for about six months. Sexy! :/ I hope you either find a new person to tend to your eyebrows, or that your regular lady doesn't have any more bad days!

ReplyDeleteI have had similar burns with waxing, so switched to threading. No more burns/scabs/pink skin. The stores in the mall normally do a good job for a reasonable price.
