Leggings~ Jessica Simpson Heels~ DIY Headband

I rarely wear darker lipstick, and seeing pictures of me with it on, always takes me a second to adjust. I like to stick to pink shades with gloss over it or a matte pink. Some of my favorites are Pink Plaid and Sweetie by MAC and Candid Candy lip liner , by Sephora. This is an easy go-to outfit, especially when short on time. The look can change entirety, simply depending on the shoes I'm wearing. It can go from super casual to a bit more chic in seconds with the swap of flats to heels. While, I love these leggings, from Target, they really are not the best for direct sun light, becoming see through. My top is from LAmade, and cardigan is from Old Navy. I don't have that much from Old Navy, and the pieces that I do have are generally not black. I've noticed that any time I get anything black from their line, it fades exceptionally fast, even though I always use cold water to wash clothing {for both eco reasons and the life of clothes}. Heels are Jessica Simpson, and headband is DIY ;)

  5. I'm glad you realize your leggings are sometimes see through. My friend wears them out all the time, and you can always see her thong through them!!! But she doesn't believe us lol. Your outfit looks great though. I try to wear a dress or skirt if I wear leggings.
    I feel the same way about Old Navy. I love the affortable, fun pieces, but they aren't the best quality.

  12. Wonderful outfit. Jessica Simpson has some seriously awesome shoes! Those lipstick colors look great on you. Other MAC lipsticks you might like are Creme Cup and and the new Gaga color.

  35. i tend to wear lighter lipsticks, too. especially since moving out west & as i get older. i think dark matte lips make me look older, & i always associate darker lips with winter in Chicago and my art school days

    i have some old navy tops. i only wash in cold (and not that often) and hang dry. their products aren't top quality, so you kind of have to baby them to make them last!

    I hardly ever wear dark lips since I have dark hair and dark eyes I like to go heavy on the eyes and we all know that you have to choose one or the other or you come out looking like a huge hot mess!
