I giggle looking at my hair in these pictures {mostly in the 3rd and 4th}, which is a great thing. There was a time when I was crying over my hair...maybe a bit dramatic, but the truth none the less, as I experienced postpartum hair loss with both of my little ones. My son is now 3 and daughter is 14 months old, and about 3-4 months after giving birth, my hair started literally falling out by the handful. I was far calmer about it the 2nd time around, mostly because I knew what was going on. But, with my son I had never even heard of postpartum hair loss. When I'd mention it to some of my girlfriends they would say 'oh yeah it happened to me! It's horrible! You are lucky you have a lot of hair to begin with'...but nobody warned me about it before the fact. Which may or may not have helped...but I think a heads up would have been nice ;) So now, while I'm still missing a good half of my hair {mostly in length since it's filling back in} , I fully embrace the hairs sticking straight up, as they are growing back in. Like with many things in life, unfortunately it sometimes takes coming close to losing something before we truly appreciate it. {I'll post on my care/routine soon to answer all your hair questions ;) }
I'm wearing Anne Klein pants that are a good 10 years old {actually, the very first time I wore them I snagged them a bit}. My top and belt are both Calvin Klein, Prada sunglasses {really only in the 3rd picture}, Aldo heels {also old} and Amrita Singh bangles which I love, but have a tendency to slip off my hand lol.
Happy Tuesday!

Great outfit but GORGEOUS hair!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a supermodel Iva! I haven't lost a lot of hair yet, but it has started falling out. I read somewhere that you don't lose hair while pregnant so maybe it just all comes out at once!

ReplyDeleteOh, and as always, I just love your style!
Wow, the only time my hair looked remotely as amazing is when I got extensions for New Year 2000! It was horrible getting it out. The glue melted to my scalp. Y2K hair!
ReplyDeleteEek! I am almost 12 weeks postpartum and I have yet to see any hair loss. I also have long hair and I'm nervous about losing it. But I'm glad to see that it does grow back. Because now your hair looks absolutely GORGEOUS.
