I've always wanted a beautiful garden filled with assorted fruits and veggies. The thought of being able to walk in the backyard and gather our lunch, makes me smile. Today is a completely gorgeous day, making it perfect to begin digging a patch to plant a garden. While my Jelly Belly is too young to truly get to experience planting, I am sure she will be able to help with digging ;) My Little Man, though, is already thrilled with the idea of picking his very own strawberries, asking "are they ready yet" and "NOW are they ready" every few minutes, and I am just as excited!I hope you are having a great weekend!

Have fun with your spring gardening. It's not the season for planting stuff here in Manila as the plants will definitely die from the heat. I normally do my planting in June when it's rainy season again. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh our kitchen is currently filled with wonderful herbs and veggies! I bought seed packs a few weeks ago and they're all beginning to sprout. I can't wait to add them to my summer salads!
ReplyDeleteGardening!? Awesome.. I've always wanted to do this someday after I have a cute little house and my husband makes so much money, I'd have to quit my job and find other things to do ;-) Homegrown fruits and veggies are the best! Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like quite a job, but how exciting! I'm a big flower gardener, but haven't yet ventured into fruits and veggies. Let me know how it goes!!
