A few months ago the strap popped off the back and I am about 99.999% sure I placed it in my purse, for safe keeping. I was planning on taking it in this past weekend to get fixed, but after looking through every... single.... purse, it's nowhere to be found. I was hoping to get them fixed with the original piece, but I suppose a replica will do ;)
{apparently the camera preferred blurry shots ;) }
Happy Monday Friends! I hope you had a super weekend!

These are so cute! Great FIRST pair of heels, I don’t even want to remember my first ones. I remember though a pair of Sasha pumps I bought the first time I came to visit London almost 10 years ago!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous... beautiful first pair of heels for sure!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
oh sad day!
ReplyDeletethat's what i do with buttons but i always lose them...
Look at your fab new layout!!! love the shoes girlie... xxxooo
ReplyDeleteI do that all the time! Most recently, my bf was looking for his safe keys I had 'placed somewhere I would of course remember' and it took us days to find them! {i had put them in my jewelry box!}
ReplyDeletewow they are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteCute shoes! I like the blur... makes it artistic. :)
ReplyDeletethose are so cute! Please tell me you still wear them?
ReplyDeleteVeryyy pretty...!! I cant even remember my first..?
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! (and they dont look that old at all!! You must treat your shoes very well!!)
ReplyDeleteMy first heels were for a school uniform. We had to wear heels.. and mine were 4 inch platforms lol.. at 12 I knew what i liked!!
I like the back of the shoes! ;p
ReplyDeleteyou still have your first pair of heels?!?!? ohMY!!!! that is incredible! i am picturing the first heels i think i had. white pumps. very pin-up girl-ish. and they were hand-me-downs from my cousin, and they weren't the right size. nevertheless, i LOVED them!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I can't even remember my first pair of real non-platformy heels but I'm pretty sure I recently tossed them. Woops.
ReplyDeleteAw these are too cute. I hope you find the strap! have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and feminine Iva! :)
ReplyDeleteThose were you first heels? Pretty stylin! I can't believe you saved them. I think that says so much about your devotion to memories/fashion/and sentimental things. Which I think is pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable!!! I like your new navigation bar too! :)
ReplyDeleteCute Iva! I still cant see how my girls walk in those real high ones,I feel so off balance lol.
ReplyDeleteReally fun post, darling Iva!
ReplyDeleteLove your shoes!
xoxox,
CC

ReplyDeleteI LOVE heels! Glad she introduced your first cute pair to you:-) Hopefully the first of many!
ReplyDeleteOh if only shoes grew on trees!
ReplyDeleteI hope you find it, hon.
What a sweet post! My first pair were strappy silver sandals for prom!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely pair... you know how they preserve the baby shoes, maybe you can do that with this pair and keep it as an heirloom. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I wish I still have my first pair of heels. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteThe blur definitely makes it look like these are Glamor Shots of your shoes! (please tell me you remember Glamor Shots - they'd soft-focus the lens so much and pile tons of makeup on everyone so everybody looked gorgeous!)
ReplyDeleteLovely shoes, I'm jealous you can still fit shoes that you had when you were 17!
Hi. Thank you so much for the comment!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your efforts so much!
I love those shoes, btw.
And they really are a feet candy.
Beautiful and perfect for Spring.
UGH! I do that all the time...it's so aggravating. Especially when you know that you have the item in question in your possession, but simply can't remember where its location is. I hope you're able to get those gorgeous heels repaired, Iva!
ReplyDeleteOhmigosh your cousin is Larisa Oleynik?! Do you realize that I was obsessed with her growing up? I watched her on The Secret World of Alex Mack everyday; and I wanted to be her in The Baby-Sitters Club! How exciting that you're related to her!! :)
I put stuff in "special" places all the time. It should be called a "black hole" because I never find them again!
ReplyDeleteAww, those are so sweet! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, those heels are so pretty, Iva! And the flowers you photographed them with are perfect. Great eye=) Hope everything is well on your end.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Iva...
ReplyDeleteI like the blurry effect~ looks dreamy & fab*
Great new week!
xo
That's funny!
ReplyDeleteA camera definitely has a mind of its own. I must say the camera knew what it was doing because I never realized that shoes could look so romantic up until now!
Have a great week!
Cute heels, I don't even remember my first pair!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I hope you find it! Those shoes are so cute! My first pair of heels were pretty ugly, (tho I probably didn't think so at the time).
ReplyDeleteI seem to always misplace things and then when I go to hunt for them, I will find other things that I forgot about...
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Indeed fabulous!
ReplyDelete♥
love the shoes...darling.
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment on my blog...much appreciated.
love your blog. :)
Oh wow! They are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute heels!
ReplyDeleteThe only real high heels I ever got were my prom ones. As a tall girl, I don't feel confident in them :/ I'm more of a flip flops/flats kind of girl.
OMG SACHA LONDON!!! I died for their shoes in the 90's when I was in high school ...mostly their lace-up oxfords because that's all we could wear but I loved that store. Adorable!
ReplyDelete{i just added your button to my sidebar ...sorry I didn't do it sooner ;) }
What a fantastic first pair of heels!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you'll be able to get them repaired- I'm sure a cobbler could do that quite easily.
