If you can, try choosing 100-percent organic cotton and certified low-impact dye sheets. Sheets which are not organic might have been treated with formaldehyde and anti-wrinkle chemicals that outgas VOCs.

ReplyDeleteI wonderful if organic, low dye cotton sheets would help my husband sleep better. We have a set of sheets that really seem to make him itch like crazy! They are a paprika/rust type color...so I'm sure they are full of chemicals, but we've washed and used them many times. hmmm....
