Lets Talk About Sex, Baby

Alright, I think we are all of adult age to talk about sex. So, while Sex Ed taught things like 1) Don't do it 2) Wear a condom 3) Don't do it 4) STD's 5) Pregnancy and 6) Don't do it; it missed a few important points as well. Sex has its health benefits, in a stable, healthy, monogamous relationship.

Gettin' jiggy with it...

Sex boots immunity: having sex once or twice a week has been linked with higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin A (IgA), which protect from colds and infections.

Sex burns calories: 30 minutes of sex, can burn up to 200 calories, and improves strength, flexibility, muscle tone and cardiovascular conditioning.

Sex improves sleep: The release of oxytocin hormones during orgasm also promotes sleep. Which in turn, promotes healthier body weight, blood pressure and mood.

Sex lessens pain: The release of endorphins during sexual arousal and climax has been proven to offer pain relief from migraines, aches and menstrual cramps.

Sex relieves stress: Sex stimulates the feeling of relaxation, positively impacting our response to stress.

...always remember though, be smart, practice safe sex ;)

I was going through reader on my phone and said - "WAIT, Iva just posted something. Sex boosts immunity!" He was already asleep. UGH! LOVE YOU!

The best part about sex and being a woman is the fact that we can have (and should have) multiple orgasms on demand. I love it.
