Til Death Do Us PartWould you do a reality TV show?
1) Yes, totally, we'd beat the odds!
These couples were bound to break up, the show just sped it up!
2) No way, no how, never ever! I'm not joining this 'curse'.
3) I'd love my own show...just not as part of a couple.
4) ________________________

Totally depends how much they paid me :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone would find me interesting enough to base an entire reality show on! (; YOU, my dear however....might be worth something!! (: love u xx
ReplyDeleteNo way. You're not just in the spotlight while the show airs. You'll be gracing the cover of tabloids for years!
ReplyDeleteWell, this is hard, because we would make such an interesting, train-wreck of a reality show. However, if I had children, the answer would definitely be a resounding, "NO!" I would probably turn it down now too, unless the show focused on us from a different angle...not just our "coupledom". On a completely unrelated note, last summer, I saw Linda Hogan in Las Vegas wearing a hot pink thong bikini with her 18 year old boyfriend. Then, she was also at the Palm's Place grand opening party looking like a hot mess with her 18 year old boyfriend, while simultaneously chasing around one of my friends. It was quite entertaining.
ReplyDeleteAs an employee of Vh1 I'd like to take credit for some of these... even though I had nothing to do with it! haha!
ReplyDeleteno thanks. j and i like our privacy too much. i'll admit however...i'm a total closet newlyweds fan...i STILL watch the episodes...i have them on dvd...i can't help it. lol.
ReplyDeleteI make an arse out of myself way to often to have that memorialized on tv!
ReplyDeletei wish. seeing as i dont think i'd ever have to face the should i/shouldnt i of reality tv, i'm not going to stress myself out now about the decision.
ReplyDeletewhat i meant to comment about, however, is ms electra's hair. want. need. am now going to pout about....
Hell to the No! I enjoy reading US Weekly, I have no desire to be IN US Weekly :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely wouldn't like one following our every move as a couple :s that would be so invasive! (However, I do enjoy watching them haha)
ReplyDeleteI think all people would see was me falling over or bumping into things haha, I am so clumsy!
Would you every be on one if given the chance darling? xxx
LOL, there's definitely a pattern there. Hmmm, I think it'd be comical if we did - and we'd definitely keep the marriage working - since no one would be watching, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet, sweet comments, Iva. You are so kind in all the comments you leave - for me and your other readers. xx
HA!!! (4) oh hell no! first of all i sound like a 3 year old on camera and that 10 extra lbs would make me starve myself like every celebrity. no thanks.
ReplyDeleteNo way! My relationship is not worth it. I go with #2!
ReplyDeletewell, i don't have cable but for the record, i'd like to say "hell no." :)
ReplyDeleteNo offense to anyone who LOVES the guys listed in those reality shows...but it kind of doesn't help if you're already married to a douchebag to begin with...just saying. Haha. If the guy has a big enough ego to want to have a reality show about him...chances are he's not going to fling off the hordes of pretty girls digging their claws into him off camera...
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I wouldn't want to join the reality show bandwagon. It's just a bad, bad situation. I can't imagine having my whole life exposed on television. Once your air of mystery is gone, people get tired of you real quick.
Oh I dunno. I just think Pittman's a hoot, so people would think he's funny. I do treasure my privacy though.
ReplyDeletethere was also bam's unholy union (i heard they're on the brink) and the show with carmen electra...ugh they just seem like they're destined for divorce the minute they sign up for a reality show! i wonder if scott baio and christopher knight are still hanging in there despite their reality wedding shows...
ReplyDeleteabsolutely not! never ever. we're way too private for that kinda stuff...however, I have absolutely NO problem watching these train wrecks over and over again!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't do a couples reality show. But I do find myself thinking as though I were on Big Brother. I will say something to someone or think something and then I will wonder...what if I was on Big Brother right now? I wonder what clips they would show the audience or the jurors in the jury house.
ReplyDeleteOccasionally this will prevent me from saying something stupid because I will be all worried about how America will perceive me.
Okay, yeah, I sound a little crazy even to myself right now. Gotta GO!

ReplyDeletexxxLOL LOLA:)
Hahah!! My best blogger friend just suggested making a reality show.. i'm sure it'd be fun for a few months... but after wanting kids i'd push all the cameras away!
ReplyDeleteno way!!! it is bound for break up.
ReplyDeleteI'd do anything for the right price...
ReplyDeleteim pretty sure none of them are together anymore! sad...
ReplyDeleteNever.
ReplyDeleteoh no way Jose, my reality tv show would be so boringgg! full of online shopping and just nonstop eating, haha. i like my life out of the limelight, and what i choose to reveal in my blog for only supportive friends to see :)
ReplyDeletei don't think i could do it, i enjoy my privacy too much ;) if there was some huge amount of money involved it might persuade me though.
ReplyDelete::shudder:: no thanks, relationships are tough enough without cameras and the judgment of the general populace...
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOFAH!!! it is kind of looking like a reality show is either the kiss of death for a relationship, or that if you WANT to do a reality show about your relationship you are doomed.
ReplyDeleteConsidering most of those marriages have divorced? No. I like the way my relationship is with TL now... a little private, and fun in our own ways! :)
ReplyDeleteNo way! I think it would be hard to be yourself in front of cameras and it is super sad what happened to these stars, they became someone they weren't. Soo...that would be a resounding no. Have you heard that JS is coming back to do her own show? Interesting, huh?!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could do it. I'm sure I'd love the fame and fortune that could come with it...but it just seems like all reality tv couples fail.
ReplyDeleteNope. My personal life will be my and my [future] hubby's biz, and our biz only...
ReplyDeleteI'm not in a couple so I'm DQ'ed, but I have to say that Shanna Moaklar always gives me the strangest compulsion to do my makeup really slutty lol.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think you could pay me enough to be a "reality star," although quite frankly, my relationship and my life in general is not even fascinating enough to have its own show in the first place!
ReplyDeleteI guess I would, but all it would be about would be us going shopping, us going out to dinner, us walking our dogs, us going to work. I don't think people would watch. LOL!
ReplyDeletehaha i just blogged about this same thing the other day. I would do one too!
ReplyDeleteIt's so odd they all ended up divorced.
ReplyDeleteOh god, this is really kind of sad, isn't it!?
ReplyDeleteHow scary! I don't think I could do it. The track record is speaks volumes! Ha! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI'd never do that...it's a marriage killer! I don't think any of them had a marriage that survived. Marriage is hard enough as it is.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely - No way, no how, never ever! I'm not joining this 'curse'.
ReplyDeletehahaha eek!!
It's a wonder couples even try to do reality shows anymore! Odds are so against you!
ReplyDeleteHi darling! Great idea for post! Thank you for wonderful comments! Wish you a great day,
ReplyDeleteFM~FP~AF
I am not sure. I do know that a solid marriage can transcend any reality show. Maybe these marriages weren't so solid to begin with!
ReplyDeleteno way would I, it is like a death sentence. Despite on home much people will say they won't change because of the show they do.
ReplyDeleteI could not do a reality show that focused solely on my marriage. No way. You're just tempting fate.
ReplyDeleteI feel like all of these couples have split!!! So I dont think I would opt for this.... :) xxxooo
ReplyDeleteonly for LOTS of money!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a curse! ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure that reality television would always break apart a couple, but it really does seem to add an unneccessary burden to something that takes effort to maintain anyhow. Plus the couples that sign up to be televised are never exactly ones that are destined to remain together. Either they are in it for the fame, or feel some need to show the world that they are in love, whilst doubting the relationship at the back of their minds. However, that being said, give me some trashy tv anyday lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a beautiful day dear :)
I would do one....but there will be guidelines of when and where they could tape!
ReplyDeleteIm too shy and jealous of my privacy...so my answer is B!
ReplyDeleteBut for millions $$$...I could think about it! :)
If I'm not wrong all those couples broke up?
No way! I could not deal with the invastion of privace!
ReplyDeleteI would like to think I would but I take too many naps, so my show would be pretty boring.
ReplyDeletePhoenix took the words right out of my mouth! Relationships are enough hard work!
ReplyDeletei could do one on my own - but i think its too much on a couple! have we seen any successful examples?
