ReplyDeleteYoung me (high school) needed to maybe pay attention to a version of the 3 day rule. I was always picky, but once I found someone I liked, I was really, really annoying. I think the 3 day rule is completely dumb, but over-aggressiveness is also a turn-off. Just use common sense, guys!

ReplyDeletei remember telling b after we met (that fateful night, ha!) that i didn't want him to wait three days to call. i hoped that he would call the next day. alas, he did not. he did, however, call on the second day. he said he didn't want to seem desperate. i wouldn't have forgiven him had he waited another day!

ReplyDelete3-day rule sounds interesting. Do many guys really follow this? Do girls have any such rules? I've heard of girls waiting for a minimum of 3 dates before 4th base. Is that not a similar rule?
