The dancer in me just keeps my weight on my toes and I never sink. People always wonder how I can wear heels on grass, no problem. Those are funny though. :)
Oh my gosh what a brillant invention! I wish I'd thought of that! I can't tell you how many times I sink into the grass or lose a heel because of weird surfaces. I am going to have to get some.
BAHAHHAH!!! why is this so funny to me!?!?!?!? h ahahah! i don't wear heels often, but that "sinking feeling" is rather horrifying! once i got a heel caught in a grate -- that was awful. and rather embarrassing!
LOL, I love that drollgirl (I see her comment above) finds humour in everything! I'm a little skeptical even if it's O approved...I'd have to see them *in person*... I'd love to not sink in grass though...I never know what to do when that happens - I'm always taken aback and can only manage to say, "uh oh"...
not the most attractive thing i've seen today, but points for creativity. really, i think i'd just rather not walk in the grass in heels. that's what sidewalks are for. :)
heehee (: I always tiptoe when walking on grass in stilettos! But I think I'll continue doing that because those plastic things, albeit functional...throws off the whole aesthetic! haha (: thanks for sharing anyway! love u (; xx
Ok, I would risk fashion ridicule to save my heels. I ruined way too many shoes in DC sidewalks. I would just slip them off discreetly when I reached my destination.
Oh my goodness- I LOVE these! I was just telling my boyfriend that we can never get married anywhere that my heel would sink through the ground! Ahh love this post :) XOXO
I honestly have so many shoes with heels plastered in mud. Also, I am way too lazy to wash every single pair after walking through grass. Then again, I am probably way too lazy to actually put these on my shoes and remove them after. If my shoe collection consisted of a lot of Louboutins, Choos, etc. I might consider these, but then again, I would probably avoid walking through grass with those ;) Now, if someone could just invent something that makes walking in heels on European cobblestone streets easier....
Brilliant! I need these! Actually I needed them last weekend but better late then never!! Haha you are a genius Iva what would I do without you!! :) xoxo
Haha, they must be pretty useful, but they do look a tad odd! I always do wonder why women risk thin heels, when they are to spend the day sinking into grass. Flats all the way lol.
Great idea. But it sounds like an item I would easily forget about and leave at home. Whenever I get stuck in the mud it's usually because I don't realize that sometime during the day I'm going to be walking in grass in my heels...eep! :)
I do the same as Adele! I always tiptoe across the grass, mud, sand.. whatever sinkable platforms. And I don't think I will where those plastizillas! Though i must say it's a very innovative idea.
Why bother with these things as I do not have any trouble wearing 4"+ stiletto heeled boots on grass and mud, thats all part of the fun of wearing heels anyway (my boyfriend loves when I sink as he can help me along). All my sharp heels are damaged and muddy, they look great like that (well used).
Holy schnikies. You've answered my prayers! Genius.
ReplyDeleteOMG that is AWESOME! i was just sinking in the grass the other day. they're hideous but it's better than getting stuck in dirt.
ReplyDeleteI would rather sink into the grass! :)
ReplyDeleteoh man i can tell you how many times i've lost a heel in the mud. ick. i need to invent something...
ReplyDeletecute!! do u think these works?? xxxoo
ReplyDeletehaha those would work wonders! however id never keep them on past grass, thatd just be too tacky (even for me!) :P

ReplyDeleteOMG NEVER. lolololol!
ReplyDeleteSo random and hilarious! Perfect for wearing heels and walking on grass... but they do look a little funny.
ReplyDeleteuseful yes, but am the only one who thinks it's an eye-sore? hmm...

Hey girl just thought I would pop over and say hello!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not so sure about these sole mates. They ruin a perfectly beautiful pair of Louboutins - the deadliest sin of them all!!!
that is genious! love it...
ReplyDeleteheehee (: I always tiptoe when walking on grass in stilettos! But I think I'll continue doing that because those plastic things, albeit functional...throws off the whole aesthetic! haha (: thanks for sharing anyway! love u (; xx
ReplyDeletethats awesome, havent seen anything like that before
ReplyDeleteI've heard these work well for preserving heels, but I think I'd rather risk the heel.
ReplyDeleteOk, I would risk fashion ridicule to save my heels. I ruined way too many shoes in DC sidewalks. I would just slip them off discreetly when I reached my destination.

ReplyDeleteI have an award that you deserve on my blog. Have a wonderful day sweetie.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. But it sounds like an item I would easily forget about and leave at home. Whenever I get stuck in the mud it's usually because I don't realize that sometime during the day I'm going to be walking in grass in my heels...eep! :)
ReplyDeleteooooh, Oprah approved... now if only I could actually walk in heels....
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh looooooove this.
