Happy almost 4th of July! Normally, come this time of the year we are the house of marinating galore. There are BBQ's to attend, pool party after pool party, and winding down the nights with firework displays. This year we are our own firework display. I proudly kicked off the party with a darling gland inflammation, which comes along with its own accessory of a 10 day supply of two medications. HA! Take that BOGO deals, I got a BOGT(wo). Not to mention the chipmunk look the right side of my face is going for. I know, I know, you're jealous. Moving up the height ladder of the Messy household, my husband, the amazing man that he is, last night, decided to step up the excitement a bit. While partaking in some off season, summer fun, at 5 seconds left in the game, what better way to bring it home than to break and dislocate your thumb. Bravo!! True holidays, are always best in emergency rooms into the wee hours. Of course, no holiday would ever be complete without a photo album to look back and reminisce on.
{I spared you the view of the bone.} We are now off for more thrilling adventures at the hand surgeons. Nothing nicer, than asking the doctor to come in on a holiday. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Enjoy some great BBQ for me! I can't wait to hear about every one's parties.
