Men and Women: Annoying 'Habits'

Annoying Things Men Do

Adjusting their privates...anywhere at any time
Selective hearing
Tuning out....male pms?
Leaving a trail behind them{clothes always missing the hamper, dishes wherever}
Clippings and shavings........left in the sink, on the floor
Not noticing new haircuts, colors, pieces of furniture
Burping, farting, spitting, snot rockets

{clipped from here}

Annoying Things Women Do

Place themselves in 'holier than thou' light
Criticize other women
Act jealous
Become needy
Speak in code
Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk
"Use sex as a weapon"

{from here}

I am not so sure about these lists. I would add/change/reword a few of these....

What would you add, change, delete?

Happy Friday Friends! Have a great weekend!

41 Fabulous People:

  1. There are things i would add to the men side...as there are things i'm sure us women do that need to be added. Either way...we put up with a lot from each other. No need to list it out for ya :)- But what i will say is: If he uses my toothbrush...i'm gonna use his razor. LOL

  2. you have the best posts!! hahah I agree with all... :) xxxooo

  3. nice. i would definitely add on to both of those, too many to name.

  4. My husband is the King of a trail of clothes! It drives me nuts!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Good list, my guy loves to accidentally forget to put the toilet paper back on the roll. Grrr! Male PMS. Nice. Ha ha.

  6. Big Man's clothes spill out of his closet into our hall it's horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I love this! Clippings and shavings has to be the worst for me! Love ya girl! Have a a great weekend :) XOXO

    ReplyDelete
  8. Haha! How true. I am glad you made the effort to list out the female ones too. Cheers!

  9. do we speak in code? really? i think pms should be in both categories b/c i annoy myself with that!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm not annoying at all, obviously. I could add some more to the male section, though. The first thing that comes to mind is snoring. Is tuning out the same as saying "What?" to everything I say?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Annoying creatures on both sides of the planets!
Mars & venus!! I want to move to Pluto with my dogs if I could...whaH*

    ReplyDelete
  12. Male PMS is worse then women. They go on these neurotic tangents where their mood swings fluctuate at any given moment.

    ReplyDelete
  13. oh dear. i am afraid i am guilty of some of these things, and so is my man!

i hope you have a super weekend, and that it is free of all annoyances listed above! :)

  14. Okay, just for the record, every guy I've ever dated has talked as much as if not more than I do. Like SHUT UP ALREADY!!! But we women are always labeled the ones who talk all of the time. I saw it depends on personality, not gender.

  15. I don't think there is too much I would change. I call my man a walking disaster. I can always tell exactly where he has been in the house. Walks in...leaves shoes out in the foyer, up the stairs...throws keys, wallet and phone on the counter, up more stairs....changes, clothes always miss the basket!! Ugh...I'm trying to deal with it since after almost 3 years nothing has changed.
    Fun post girly :)
    Have a great weekend!!

  16. i agree with mostly all of those, except since i have way more "guy tendencies" rather than "girl tendencies" i feel like i can accept many of these flaws haha.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Leaving a trail behind them{clothes always missing the hamper, dishes wherever}
That's exactly right! ! I would add to that: leaving the cupboards hanging wide open

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would add Selfish for men and anithing to add for woman. I'm the one who speak in code sometime!!!
What does holier than thou man?

    Have a terrific weekend!!!
    Love

  19. I hate when women are acting like 2 cats fighting over a man, and when they acting nice on the outside and gossip around. Really annoying!! If you don't have to say anything nice, shut up!

And boys, well...I get a long with boys better...but I prefer to leave all their stinky and noisy stuff on the out!

    *pozz iz zagreba :)

  20. A guy gripe for me is when they don't put the seat back down on the toilet... or even worse, not hitting the hole! C'mon guys, you have the ability to aim and have a huge target at that! :P

Girl gripes... I hate getting the snobby once-over by other girls, it takes me back to high school. Mature. Can't we all just play nice with each other at this point?!?

  21. Hi Sweet Lady!

I think I've both list are pretty accurate, we all have faults and have things we need to work on. I try hard to work on each of the items on the annoying things women do list and try even harder to be tolerant of men's short comings, after all I appreciate tolerance when I fall short.

Thanks for the visit, need to add you to my blog roll!

    xoxo

  22. For the men...gosh, can you imagine I've actually seen my father in-law adjust...I nearly died. Really. I think for a second, I actually did.

And the trail of socks...it's like dogs when they pee to claim their territory...it's so weird. I find little clumps of clothes here and there - oh well, I could have worse things to complain about I guess :)

Happy weekend Iva and to your family too :)

  23. Haha, this list is so true!

I would add to the 'men' side, the fact that they ALWAYS leave the toilet seat up, even when they're visiting someone else's house (like my own house). It's a pain to put it back down all the time!

But yeah, us girls are definitely guilty of speaking in code, gotta work on that!

Hope you have an amazing weekend :)

  24. Seriously. What is the deal with the selective hearing?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Great post. This is my first time visiting your blog. I really like it. Have a cool weekend. Cheers!

  26. Ew, the shavings and clippings all over the bathroom sink is my biggest pet peeve.

Also, it's annoying how they eat your food that you buy for yourself without asking and you don't notice until you want it and it's gone...or maybe that's just the problem I'm facing. Haha.

    ReplyDelete
  27. LOL that is soooooooooo true [the men part]. I would just add not even knowing what the word "consideration" means. It's like no matter what, they can't be considerate of others. EVER.

    ReplyDelete
  28. men not putting the toilet seat down and then I fall through in the middle of the night

    ReplyDelete
  29. hahaha!! So with you on these little annoying things:) you are brilliant!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Glad to say that I do not do any of the men's annoying habits lol. Yick, it all sounds rather gross to be honest!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I find it easier and more endearing to list the happy things rather than focus on the annoying! Luckily, the good usually far outweighs the bad!

    ReplyDelete
  32. This was hilarious...even though i dont agree with most of the points in the women's section!

    ReplyDelete
  33. lol

those were all true, except for the woman using sex as a weapon. at least I don't do that! I think the less horny one usually does THAT!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. hmm...what's wrong with farting? i'm probably worst at that than the boy. lol. but farts are funny...at least i think so.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That list? Totally accurate. I have very dangerous sex weapons.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think the shaving/clippings is my biggest gripe. But my man is out of town for two months, so I even miss those... *le sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  37. Men-Leave the toilet seat up
Women-Give other women dirty looks even when you don't know them.
    Good list

    ReplyDelete
  38. The problem for me probably isn't "acting" jealous per se, but rather actually being jealous. i work really hard not to be though!

the leaving trails of clothes for men though? it drives me bonkers! i am getting annoyed just thinking about it!
    AHHH!

  39. Men do talk as much as women, but when women talk it's not interactive, they simply doing a biological function-women talk to release hormones not to inform or discuss. Men talk to figure something out or have fun.
