A Forever Wedding Band

Hi Friends!

50 cent removed his tattoos from his arm which were immediately visible. He said it took about 4 hours of sitting in the makeup chair to cover them for movie roles. I know for a lot of people {if not all} tattoos are generally really personal. I have one {although really tiny on my left shoulder}, and taking it off would be a 'no no go'.

A really, really, personal tattoo would be a wedding band tattoo, would you {or do you, or will you} get a wedding band tattoo?

48 Fabulous People:

  1. I love tattoos however I have white ones andf a blck one but i prefer the white ones xoxox

  2. My step-dad wants to get a wedding band tattoo-- because his ring drives him crazy!! He's a cell phone engineer and says it always gets in the way when he's tinkering with his tiny tools :) Probably (hopefully!) not a fancy one like PA's though!

  3. I would never get a wedding band tattoo, because call me a cynic I am pretty sure if you get something like that your marriage is doomed to fail.

  5. I have a tiny one on my left shoulder that my sister calls my mole. LOL Yes, that is how small it is. I am going to be upgrading before the summer is over.

  6. not wedding band here, period tattoo or not:)
my tattoos are here to stay although if i could do it again, the first one would not have happened. i like it least for sure.

  7. No wedding band and if you are going to get a tattoo, you shouldn't plan on removing it. They are pretty much there to stay. ;)

  8. I think a wedding band tattoo can be original and creative and I know people who have done it. While I love tattoos I don't think I could do that, it would be like getting a significant others' name tattooed on.

  9. I'm not a fan of tattoos, even if it's a wedding band one that's forever. Not my style. The thought of the pain would keep me from getting one even if I did want one, lol.

  10. I love the idea of a wedding band tattoo, but no...its not not for me.

  12. I have one tattoo on my pelvic bone and I plan to get one more but I would never get a wedding band. It is like having your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend on your body and that's the kiss of death. No thanks

  13. i wouldn't only because i'd rather have a diamond band. nothing against tatoos.

  17. I definitely would not get a wedding band tattoo. I have two already (a small one on my right shoulder- just like you :)!) and a small one on my bikini line- and at times I regret them both! I am glad that I can cover mine and at work and such- which is why I'd never to the wedding band thing! :) XOXO

  19. I'll definitely stick to rings...I just prefer when I can take things on and off. But some people like the permanency (is that a word, LOL) and get tattooed make-up...

  22. It's definitely a cute idea ... especially when some people don't wear rings to work, at least they have something that's always there to remind them ... personally not for me though, 'cause I'm afraid of needles and, therefore, tattoos LOL.

  31. I love the idea of a wedding band tattoo but I dont think I would get one.

  32. Another great post! Your blog is so much fun to read :-)

No wedding band tattoo for me. I have also a few tattoos, but they are personal & not done for someone else. Though I feel a wedding band tattoo is genuinely a more solid form of one proving their devotion to the vows they took [and when I see it on someone, I admire it], I don't feel I need to mark myself permanently to prove to someone that I love them & stand by my word.

  33. i have 10 tatts but id never get a wedding band tattoo. so risky! same goes for the name of your boyfriend/hubby. id possibly get the names or birthdates of any future children thou

  34. I don't have any tattoos, but I've had an idea for a really small one for awhile now. Also, I wouldn't get a wedding band tattoo, but my reason is actually really superficial. I like my engagement ring a lot, and I think a tattoo would distract from it :)

I agree about those damn cell phone towers! (Even though their crappiness saves me a lot of money sometimes!)

  35. I think wedding band tattoos are great, but I would not want one.
I really want a tattoo, but at the same time, so many people have them I actually feel a bit more original without them.
    Piercings are more my thing

  37. love the idea of a wedding band tattoo- but i dont think i could find a 'band' tat that would be as pretty as a ring...

i would not mind getting the wedding date or his initials inked between my palm and ring finger though. same idea- different execution.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Probably not... I still love Pam though!!

  39. I think they are cute for some people, but not for me. :) I'd 10x rather have a pretty ring! :D I think maybe a matching/symbolic wedding tattoo would be nice though- one to get together after you are married.

  40. I have two tattos that I love and I won't never took them off!

  41. i think doing the wedding band tatoo is a sure fire way to end the relationship...bad karma or something....

    ReplyDelete
  42. I've 7 and I'd never have a wedding or a bf name tattoo..no way you'll never know!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I wouldn't get one because I have an absolutely amazing wedding set and I wouldn't want to take away from that but I think it's fine for people who are into the tatoo thing. I don't have any tatoos (neither does the Mr.) and I'll probably never get one. I just can't think of anything I'd still want inked on my body when I'm 85.

Hope you're having a lovely day! It's almost the weekend!! **Hugs**

  44. In this day and age, I would not get a wedding band tattoo. Even if I loved and trusted my husband to an infinite degree, I just couldn't do it. You never know what is going to happen between you two. Nothing is perfect and the future is so uncertain.
That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to getting a personal tattoo for me! Something symbolic that represents who I am...that would be special.
My aunt has tattoo flowers representing each of her three daughters. I think something like that would be very sweet.

  45. I don't think there's anything wrong with tats, but I personally couldn't pull that look off. My friends would laugh at me, hahaha.

  46. I would never do a wedding band. I do have two and I plan on getting more when I have babies (like Angelina but not so big or public).

    ReplyDelete
  47. i love tattoos but not for a wedding band. i love my wedding ring way too much!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. i have tattoo's but I wouldnt ever get a wedding band tattoo...it's like tattoo your bf name on you, your relationship is doomed for failure after that. Atleast that's what i believe.
