Summer, Summer, Summer Time

Alright ladies. It's that time again. Swimsuits. So whats, your style. Do you rock that bikini, or do you strut your stuff in a one piece? Maybe you are a meet in the middle mama and go for the bikini and cover with a sarong? I'm a black halter bikini kind of gal. Whatever you style is, do you feel ready for the extra skin exposure, or do you have a fitness plan in place to get you there? Personally, I feel somewhat there, minus the linea negra still visible from carrying around jelly belly. HA. As for my fitness routine, I like cardio and focusing on small muscle groups. I'm surprised Starbucks hasn't come up with the "Starbucks Diet", until they do I will very loosely adhere to Atkins. When I say loosely, I mean, eat more protein then carbs, but still eat an entire bag of gummy bears and keep telling myself they are "fat free", while ignoring that fact that sugar is a carb. See you at the beach!

  1. Gummy Bears get a waiver for being the food of champions, so they are actually healthy, regardless of what the doctors say. : )

  6. I just started going to the gym about 2 months ago after having been a lazy lazy girl for ohh like 4 years! I do cardio 6 days a week, for at least 30 minutes, plus light weights. I've since GAINED 8 pounds, and really, I don't care if it's muscle and whatever. It's frusterating! 8 pounds is almost 10 and not helping the bathing suit situation that is about to ensue. I'm a tankini kind of girl, my belly is not at all prepared for public exposure! Next summer...lol

I like halter tops mostly because they make other things appear bigger if you catch my drift! lol.

  9. Spin class is amazing for lower body, but I've started adding in kickboxing once a week too, for overall toning. But as long as you're active in some way, good job! And gaining weight during a new fitness program is to be expected after inactivity. BaffledBlogger, instead of measuring by weight lost, trying measuring by inches lost.
