Two things about me: I have an addictive personality and I have slight issues with portion control. Ok. Major issues. Both are highly active with subject matter: raw almond butter. I really just spoon feed myself. At some point I end up hearing the clinking of my spoon hitting against the glass jar and I'm distraught there is no more. Literally, my face just freeze frames. You'd think I just heard some horrific news. But alas, my noggin is working enough to know that downing 2,000 calories in a matter of minutes is not wise. So, with a little research I just came across Justins Nut Butter. Genius! 100 calorie individually packaged almond butter. Yes, I know I can still grab 20 packages and still intake 2,000 calories, but if I only take one with me, shove it in my purse, or more accurately diaper bag, I can have my healthy snack fix to go! They even have honey and maple flavor, if that tickles your taste buds. Ahhh. Its the little things in life that make me happy!
oh ps. as a side note, if you are into nuts, dried fruit, chocolate, and other munchies, one of my favorite reasonably priced go to sites is Nuts Online. I stumbled upon them during college and loved it ever since.

yuuuum! almond butter and nuttella... ah i could live off of them!

that's awesome!! I totally have an addictive personality so I try to aviod high calorie things (even if their healthy) so I dont eat a ton of calories at one time. but with things like that it will be easier to still enjoy those and not eat 2000 calories in one sitting :)
ReplyDeleteWow - those look really great. My favorite website for learning about new healthy snack ideas is
